Week 10 recaps

Whitehaven 23 East 0

The Tigers completed a second consecutive 10-0 regular season & it took all of 1 play to make it happen. Mark Dodson went 80 yds for a TD on the first play of scrimmage to give the Haven all the points they would need. Dotson scored another TD and finished with 265 yds rushing on 25 carries. The Tigers D did the job as well, limiting the Mustangs to 96 yds of total offense while pitching the shutout.

Ineligible player could cost the Eagles a first round bye

The TSSAA is reporting that ECS used an ineligible player in their game vs FACS earlier this season and now has to forfeit that game. ECS had clinched the divison and a bye in the first round of the playoffs before this and still has the opportunity to do so although it won't solely be up to them.

Here is the scenario:
If SBEC beats FACS, ECS is 1, Harding Academy is 2 and SBEC is 3.

If FACS beats SBEC, Harding Academy is 1, FACS is 2 and ECS is 3.
