The Trojans open up at home with the team that ended their 2012 season in the second round of the playoffs in Germantown in week 0, travel to D2 power MBA and to Liberty, which reached the 4A semifinals last year. All in all, 7 of the 10 teams on the schedule were in the playoffs in 2012.
MUS plays another brutal schedule again in 2013. They open the year at Brentwood Academy, a team they beat in the semifinals last year following a remarkable comeback. Then a 5 game stretch in which they play teams that reached either the semifinals or finals in their respective state. The Owls also travel to Arkansas to take on Pulaski Academy, to Jackson to take on Liberty before hosting South Panola. MUS will go on the road to Lafayette (MS) before their annual rivalry game with CBHS.
