2 more young men commit

K Eric Berry II and DL Jordan Barrett from Southwind have both committed to play football at Stillman College, a Division 2 school located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama that plays in the SIAC. This brings the total numbers of Shelby Metro area players committing to 28.

Berry got hurt early in the year but came back healthy at end of the season and he is a national honor society student. Barrett is a smart kid that has speed and a lot of power and the coaching staff at Stillman is looking for him to anchor their defense.

Everyone here at Shelby Metro Sports is committed to getting the word out about ALL of the young men who get an opportunity to continue their education and play football at the next level. Congrats to all of the young men in the Shelby Metro area.

  1. It great to see that their was colleges to seen the talent in Eric Berry II. And Jordan Barrett. Even when their own high school coaches didn't. They boys parents is the ones the got their film out there. Not one southwind coach introduced theses kids to a college. Coach. What a sham and disgrace.
