As you know very well by now, Millington football player Dana Payne passed away Tuesday afternoon during practice. The Commercial Appeal's John Varlas wrote a very good piece about the situation and family. A memorial fund has been set up in Dana Paynes name. Donations can be made to any First Tennessee Bank or First South Credit Union location.
After meeting with Dana's family, Millington has decided to play their season opener this Friday at Kirby.
